Archie Lopez


A graduate from the Arizona State University’s Del E. Webb School of Construction, Archie joined Felix in 1992.  Archie’s experience in the water / waste water industry has helped mold Felix into a premier Water/Wastewater contractor.


Steve Stayer

Vice President of Field Operations

Steve Stayer joined Felix Construction in 1998 bringing a lifetime of experience with field personnel and equipment to the rapidly growing company. Steve now oversees all AZ field operations. 


Dana Watts

Head of Electrical / I&C Group

Felix Construction identified early on that integration of an in-house electrical group would be a driving factor in the long term success of the company. After many years of waiting for the perfect fit, Dana Watts became available and started Felix’s EI&C group in 2001. Today, Felix’s electrical group completes millions of dollars of work per year in addition to utilizing our UL-508A and UL-698A Panel Shop certifications to design, fabricate, and install sophisticated control panels.


David Giannetto

Head of Alternative Project Delivery, VP, Principal

A graduate from the Arizona State University’s Del E. Webb School of Construction, David joined the Felix team in 2002. He oversees the preconstruction activities on all alternative delivery projects.  David is an ACE Certified Job Order Contracting Professional and ACE trained in Construction Manager at Risk.  He possesses both the construction theory provided by formal education and the real world skills provided by hands-on construction and engineering work.


Joel Felix

Estimating, Treasurer, Principal

Joel began his career with Felix in 1987 and worked until he graduated from the Arizona State University’s Del E. Webb School of Construction. Joel returned to the Felix team in 1998. He has nearly twenty years of experience in construction, including water booster stations, well equipping, wastewater treatment plants, and heavy construction. He is able to manage all project aspects from the competitive bid stage through final completion. Joel also has extensive experience with Alternative Procurement Delivery Projects.


Matt Phillips

Texas Group Manager, VP, Principal

Matt Phillips joined the Felix Construction team in 2004 but started his construction career in 1999.  Matt's experience includes supervision and management of the construction of wastewater, water treatment, underground utilities, site development, mechanical plants, and major street development.  He is highly skilled with “hands-on” field work experience as well as operations management.  Matt moved to Dallas, TX in 2014 to expand the company's reach in to the flourishing DFW area.


Kevin Felix

Project Management, Corporate Secretary, Principal

A graduate from the Arizona State University’s Del E. Webb School of Construction, Kevin has over 20 years of experience in construction. He has extensive experience with Alternative Delivery Projects and brings a wide array of construction theory provided by formal education as well as real construct-ability knowledge provided by years of field work to our Electrical/I&C Group.


Zach Foster

General Manager of Contracting Group

A graduate from the Colorado State University's School of Construction Management, Zach began his career with Felix in 2007.  He has worked in the water and wastewater construction industry since 1998.  He has managed numerous water production, distribution, and treatment facilities for various municipalities and private owners across the Western US.


Dennis Sime

General Superintendent

Dennis oversees the day-to-day operations of over 150 field employees and Felix’s entire fleet of equipment.
