1987

Felix Construction is founded in Mesa, AZ by Donald Felix with three employees.

1992

Archie Lopez is hired as a Project Manager and will eventually become President of Felix Construction.

1998

Kevin and Joel Felix come to work for Felix Construction full time after finishing college and 11 years of part time and seasonal work.

2001

Felix Construction’s Electrical / Instrumentation & Controls Group (E/I&C) is started with the hiring of Dana Watts.

2004

Felix Construction is selected as the Construction Manager At Risk for the City of Phoenix Arsenic Removal Demonstration Facility at Well 280. This project is named Project of The Year by the Arizona Water and Pollution Control Association. Felix will go on to build the other three phases of this project consisting of Arsenic Removal Facilities at 18 well sites in and around Phoenix, AZ.

2005

E/I&C Group received the Underwriters Laboratory Certification to build Industrial Control Panels (UL-508A).

Felix Construction opens its new office in Coolidge, AZ (Pinal County) to house the rapidly growing E/I&C Group and Industrial Control Panel Shop.

The company’s first projects are started outside of the state of Arizona. Rio Rancho Booster Pump Station (Rio Rancho, NM) and Co-Generation Wastewater Treatment Plants (El Paso, TX).

This year marks the 25th Anniversary for Felix Construction.

Felix Construction is the Mechanical Subcontractor on the Camelback Core Booster Pump Station project for the City of Phoenix. This project is named Water Project of the Year by the Arizona Water Association.

Founder Donald Felix retires after 25 years of excellence.

After 25 years, Felix has outgrown its office in Mesa, AZ.  The company moves its headquarters to the Coolidge office and opens an office in Surprise, AZ to better serve their west valley clients.

Felix expands east by opening an office in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Felix Construction serves as the General Contractor for the City of Phoenix 7A-GS2 3 MG Concrete Reservoir Project. This project is named Water System Project of The Year by the Arizona Water Association.

Keller

2017

Felix Construction is selected by the City of Keller, TX to build their Alta Vista Pump Station as the first CMAR project in Texas for Felix.
