Denison approves $1.4 million contract for wastewater plant improvements

Felix Construction is excited to add another project and develop a relationship with another great community in Texas.

The Paw Paw Wastewater Treatment Plant in Denison, TX will soon be undergoing a series of improvements.

The Denison City Council approved a $1.4 million contract with Felix Construction for work on the Paw Paw Wastewater Treatment Plant that will see the replacement of the plant’s UV disinfection and clarifier equipment.

These improvements come as the equipment, which was installed between 1988 and 1994, has reached the end of its lifespan.

“This is equipment that is about 25 years old,” Atteberry said. “We can’t even buy replacements for it anymore. It’s that out of date.”
