Gilbert Site 20 Reservoir & BPS
The Gilbert Site 20 project is a comprehensive upgrade and expansion of the existing water infrastructure to enhance efficiency, reliability, and overall capacity. Central to the project is the construction of a new 3-million-gallon prestressed concrete reservoir and a state-of-the-art booster pump station equipped with six booster pumps and one recirculation pump.
A precast multi-use building will support site operations and house critical systems, including an electrical room, chlorination room, sample room, and communications room. Additional improvements include the installation of a new chemical system, modern electrical gear, a 36-inch header line, and a 24-inch discharge line.
To maintain uninterrupted service, the existing 2-million-gallon steel tank and booster pump station will remain in operation throughout construction. Once the new infrastructure is fully functional, the original tank and pump station will be demolished, completing the site’s transformation.
