GENERAL CONTRACTOR / CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

As a General Contractor, Felix is responsible for all aspects of a construction project. From maintaining schedule and budget to managing subcontractors and suppliers all while meeting quality standards.

Our Construction Management work includes cost modeling/estimating, project planning/scheduling, alternate systems evaluation, constructability review, long-lead studies and procurement, efficiency analysis, permitting assistance, safety/hazard analysis, quality analysis/control, and value comparison/engineering.

MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION & PIPING

Felix is capable of installing any and all mechanical plant equipment in Water, Wastewater, and Storm Water facilities. We are also capable of self-performing installation of piping from small process pipe to large diameter piping systems.

CIVIL SITEWORK

Nearly every successful construction project requires some level of civil sitework including clearing, trimming, drainage layout, and a solid foundation.  Without the proper skill and equipment, problems can arise causing cost increases and reduced productivity. Felix has heavy equipment and highly skilled operators to meet almost of every project’s civil sitework needs.

STRUCTURAL CONCRETE

Concrete is a fundamental element of water and wastewater construction. From treatment plants to booster stations, and reservoirs to well sites, few projects take shape without it. Felix self-performs structural concrete work on some of the most technically-sophisticated water and wastewater projects in Arizona and Texas. With decades of experience, the company has built a solid reputation as a go-to contractor for exceptional concrete solutions.

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

The Felix Electrical Division has the distinct advantage of a self-performing General Contractor and Panel Shop to support not only our panel installation, but any General or Electrical Contracting needs you may require regardless of size.

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROLS

In the Water/Wastewater industry, highly sophisticated electrical equipment can always be found on a project’s critical path. With this in mind, we set out to grow an in-house electrical group to allow our company far greater control over the schedule. Our ability to procure and install electrical gear and control equipment is one of the largest distinguishing factors of Felix Construction from our competitors. Felix is capable of providing turnkey projects from modular systems to groundbreaking installations.

INDUSTRIAL CONTROL PANEL DESIGN & FABRICATION

Once Felix Construction had firmly established the in-house electrical group, we discovered that control panel fabrication was much too long. In 2005 we earned our UL 508A certification giving Felix the ability to design and build much of the electrical gear and control cabinets used in our type of work. Projects with highly aggressive schedules are no longer a serious challenge because we are not forced to rely on overly busy electrical subcontractors or 3rd party panel shops with excessively long lead times. In 2014 we earned our UL 698A certification allowing us to design and fabricate Intrinsically Safe Control Panels that will be installed in hazardous locations.
